The DRS operates exactly as black boxes used in aircrafts, recording vital driving course information. This device has a high sensitivity GPS, high resolution camera, and G sensors that are capable of capturing the car’s driving course in three dimensions. Recorded images, sound, and speed are precisely represented, with location information indicated on Google Map. In case of accident, the DRS Black Box stores the location of the accident and its surroundings, effectively eliminating any doubt as to the cause.

Precise driving and accident information

The DRS Black Box maintains exact records on the driver’s overall surroundings and on specific roads. The crash sensor automatically picks up that an accident has occurred and immediately stores information on the situation. In very minor accidents not read by the sensor, automatic mode remains in operation for non-stop recording. The driver also has the option of manually pressing the emergency button to record any situation at any time. Accident images can be captured up to 30 seconds before and after an accident has occurred.

With the DRS Black Box capturing images and sounds in true to life form, Google Map tracing the driver’s path, and the GPS sensor and G (gravity) sensor relaying detailed information on the how, when and where of an accident, including the driver’s steering wheel operation and speed, the driver is always able to determine with 100% accuracy the circumstances of an accident, avoiding confusion and complications.
